Salto KS Certified Hands-On Workshop

Salto KS Certified Hands-On Workshop is for technical personnel or individuals with little or no experience with Salto products.

This 1-day Hands- On Workshop is held in-person at a local Salto XSperience Center from 9am to 5pm local time. See the agenda below.

 

Salto KS Certified Hands-On Workshop Agenda:

9 am -12 pm: Salto KS System architecture

Salto KS Cloud software, access methods and ecosystem

Salto KS - Larry Configuration Tool

12-1 pm: Lunch 

1-5 pm: Salto KS Hardware (Locks, Controllers and RF)

 

Prior to attending a Salto KS Certified Hands-On Workshop, attendees must complete prerequisite online coursework. The coursework is housed in Salto’s Learning Management System (LMS) and consists of two parts: hardware and software. Both hardware and software courses are composed of several modules covering an array of Salto topics. Attendees must complete both hardware and software courses before attending a Salto KS Hands-On Workshop. 

In the Salto KS Certified Hands-On Workshop, attendees will:

• Understand the Salto KS product line, including locks, infrastructure, technology and software.
• Review Salto’s KS online resources and technical support structure.
• Learn how to specify, install and implement the Salto KS cloud application and associated hardware on customer's premises.
• Learn how to utilize Salto's KS locking solutions to secure every door.
• Learn best practices for a Salto KS deployment including: System design, installation strategies and troubleshooting.
• Understand how Salto KS cloud-based system and wireless technology locks solve tough access control challenges.

After completing the Salto KS CertifiedHands-On Workshop, learners will be required to take an exam. A passing score of 75% is required to earn the SALTO KS Certified Installer certificate.

Learners who earn the “Salto KS Certified Installer” certification will be granted access to the Larry 2.0 KS commissioning platform, which makes Salto KS implementation easier, and facilitates the transition from installer- to owner control.
