1. Salto KS Digital Key for Apple Watch and Android Wear OS Smart Watches
This year, we expanded the reach of our innovative SALTO KS app with the release of version 8.7.0, the latest update for iOS and Android. This development makes SALTO KS Digital Key technology compatible with Apple Watch and Wear OS – formerly Android Wear OS – smartwatches. Now, you can unlock your door quickly and easily with your Apple Watch or Wear OS smartwatch.
We all have a lot on our hands around this time of year. But Apple Watch and Wear OS smartwatch users can enjoy a time-saving access solution worn directly on the wrist, opening or closing doors with ease and eliminating the need for a phone. Just gently place your watch against the lock for efficient, on-the-go access.

2. GANTNER NET.Lock for unprecedented smart and keyless convenience
We took locker and cabinet access control to the next level by introducing a seamless integration between SALTO and GANTNER’s NET.Lock lockers locking series. With this move, we made high-tech keyless access possible to storage spaces. By integrating SALTO Space and SALTO KS with GANTNER’s NET.Lock, we provide smart, keyless convenience for lockers and cabinets like never before.
Integrating with Salto KS expands the NET.Lock cloud platform capabilities, allowing users to access GANTNER locker locks via the SALTO KS Mobile App or with a SALTO smart tag. It also offers many benefits, including simultaneous access in high-traffic areas and real-time data tracking.
Two new functionalities, Personal Mode and Dynamic Mode, help you cater to your facility’s specific requirements, all manageable via the web app. In Personal Mode, multiple users can be assigned to the same locker, and only the assigned user(s) can lock/open it as many times as they want. In Dynamic Mode, a user can occupy any available locker at a given moment.
GANTNER’s smart locker NET.Lock series is now compatible with SALTO Space and SALTO KS smart access platforms, offering the safety and convenience of a smart keyless storage experience. Upgrading to these smart locks guarantees enhanced flexibility, security, and efficiency.

5. Improved SALTO KS Web App
The SALTO KS Web App underwent significant improvements to elevate the overall system operator journey. This new update makes managing credentials, access preferences, and system settings easier – all in one place.
In releases this year, we introduced enhanced designs of the SALTO KS Web App, including a new look for the Dashboard, a more precise overview of vital information regarding your site, and easier access management—first on the Locks, People, Access Groups, and most recently the Pod, Site, and Events Pages. The Web App now offers everything you need for a seamless and productive user experience.
System operators now have greater oversight over their access control system, with additional capabilities to easily add or remove users, assign tailored access levels, and monitor activities in real-time. Recognizing the spike in mobile activity among users, we have also implemented significant updates to the mobile compatibility of our Web App, with even more to come in the future.

The collaboration with TouchByte is poised to expedite the development and time-to-market of an advanced face recognition access control solution. TouchByte's expertise and solutions portfolio will synergise with Cognitec's FaceVACS algorithm, bringing a host of capabilities to SALTO's product lineup for diverse applications across industries.

Finally, we're glad to share some of the remarkable triumphs of our sponsored athletes with disabilities through the support of our social initiative, Free2Move.
