The Music Station vid den tidigare järnvägsstationen Príncipe Pío är det första kreativa navet i musikvärlden. Warner Music Spain har restaurerat en gammal järnvägsstation i Madrid och omvandlat den till ett utrymme på mer än 10 000 kvadratmeter som är tillägnat musik och scenkonst.
Byggnaden öppnades officiellt i maj 2022 och har fyra oberoende utrymmen. I tornet till höger finns inspelningsstudior och ett coworking-utrymme för anställda, med repetitionssalar, video- och fotolokaler, kompositionsrum och bås för samtal och möten. Här kan artister och kompositörer utveckla sina kreativa och tekniska projekt.
I den centrala byggnaden finns en teater där Warner Music Spain organiserar konserter och evenemang. Den har en kapacitet på upp till 1 000 personer i teatern och upp till 2 000 för konserter. Det är planerat att det vänstra tornet kommer att hysa musikmuseet, Hall of Fame och The Music Stations restaurang.
Warner Music Spain representerar en förändring från det traditionella arbetsplatskonceptet. Det finns inga traditionella kontor eller mötesrum, utan i stället dynamiska faciliteter som främjar kreativitet och är tillgängliga för företagets personal, låtskrivare och artister.

Salto has given us the opportunity to be much more independent. Now, all our artists, employees, and guests can access the building even if there is no one at reception to let them in. In addition, we can control different responsibilities through the Salto platform, where we provide access depending on the degree or profile of each individual.
The Music Station has been designed to meet the creative and technical needs of professionals in the music sector, as well as those of the employees of Warner Music Spain. For this reason, the facilities are open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The company aims to turn the building into a tool to promote inspiration and ideas with impact.
To this end, the company decided on Salto Systems to equip the entire facility with the latest technology and offer users a unique experience.
Using intelligent access via Salto KS, users can access The Music Station through a mobile app, with which they can also book rooms, workspaces, parking spaces, lockers, and more.
Salto KS is a smart access solution that offers multiple ways to open doors, including with a digital key. It is compatible with a wide range of keyless methods to improve the user experience and the security of any type of building, and offers advanced security features on a cloud-based wireless management platform.
Salto KS provides security with more simplicity, value, and speed, as well as a better user experience. Now, Warner Music Spain can remotely monitor all access points, at any time and from any device.
Arcón, Salto's main partner in Spain, installed electronic access control solutions at The Music Station in early 2022.
“In the project, it was essential to offer an agile mobile unlocking capability, in addition to integration with its Spaceti application. Thanks to the Salto product installed, we could avoid having to lower cables from the ceiling. It is now possible to work through fully remote and wireless cloud-based management platform,” explains Arcón’s Luis Díaz del Río.
On the one hand, they placed 15 sets of XS4 One electronic shields, which are intelligent, safe, innovative, and easy to install. They do not need wiring and provide a networked electronic lock solution with multiple features.
They also installed 17 electronic Neo Cylinders, which can be adapted to any door and provide an easy-to-use electronic locking platform. These cylinders are battery-operated and provide information about user access.
On the other hand, four Design XS Readers were installed, which, in combination with the Salto CU41 KS controller, provide the installation with a complete security solution.
Likewise, The Music Station features a total of 12 IQ 2.0 units. The IQ is the brain of the installation, as it connects Salto's independent wireless locks to the cloud. Thanks to 2G, 3G, and 4G cellular connectivity, the IQ communicates with the Salto cloud, receives all modifications and settings from the Salto KS applications, and ensures that all the locks are updated in a matter of seconds. The IQ 2.0 communicates with SALTO KS access points via ZigBee using Bluetooth.
Finally, through integration with the Spaceti application, 64 Gantner ECO.Side Locks were installed, designed to adapt to almost all types of locker materials. Its invisible installation provides a high level of protection against vandalism and an elegant design that meets the aesthetic requirements of homeowners and architects.

Integrating with Spaceti has been essential in this project. It has allowed us to greatly improve the user experience as a whole, from the installation and integration of access control to the opening and closing of lockers.
