XS4 Sense Controller

The XS4 Sense Controller is the central device designed to manage energy consumption within a room efficiently. Connected directly to the main power supply, it communicates seamlessly with both the multisensor and door/window sensors to implement intelligent energy-saving scenarios.

Featuring a DIN rail mounted design, the XS4 Sense controller enhances energy management by automatically switching off power to air conditioning and lighting when the room is unoccupied – effectively eliminating wasted energy.

Features

Wide range AC input allows deployment in regions with 110–230 V mains. Designed to run directly from the room’s power supply without external adapters.
Compact, 4 module DIN rail form factor for straightforward mounting inside electrical cabinets. Leaves space for neat wiring and auxiliary protection devices.
Two integrated 1A relays provide low current switching to drive contactors for AC/lighting. Helps separate control from power circuits for safer operation.
Dual antenna design enhances Wi-Fi and Bluetooth communication:
Onboard Wi-Fi enables direct communication to the XS4 Sense Local Appliance Server (only under online mode). Simplifies setup without needing a wired Ethernet drop.
Bluetooth provides a low energy, short range link to peripheral sensors to trigger the change scenario. Supports quick pairing and responsive updates from room devices.
Integrated metering tracks real-time current and consumption of up to 16 A on the monitored line(s). Facilitates energy-saving strategies and diagnostic insight.
Dedicated interface to the Salto InRoomNode (C08) for seamless ecosystem integration with Salto Space. Streamlines installation and ensure reliable BLUEnet Wireless communication between components.
Discrete inputs accept signals from existing wired magnetic contacts or similar dry contact sensors. Useful scenarios where wireless connectivity isn’t feasible, or wiring is in place.
