An RFID tag is a contactless key fob with a secure chip used for smart access control. Presenting a tag or keycard to a lock for which the user has access permissions grants entry. RFID credentials replace physical keys, are easy to assign, and can be blocked or reissued if lost.
A Digital Key is a secure mobile credential stored in your smartphone for cloud-based access control. Tapping your phone to a BLE-enabled lock unlocks the door. It replaces physical keys and works via the Salto KS mobile app for admins or Salto KS Keychain mobile app for users.
Android users can unlock doors by waking their phone and presenting it to an NFC-enabled lock, which then grants access. NFC access is also supported on Wear OS smartwatches.
Enter your PIN on the smart lock or wall reader keypad to unlock doors. You can also assign a secure, unique PIN to guests so they can access the space independently.
Remote Opening lets you unlock doors from anywhere using the Salto KS web app or mobile app. Grant access to guests instantly, no matter the distance, with secure cloud-based control.

Events Streaming enables real-time monitoring of entries and incidents. Events appear instantly without refreshing, keeping your access data live and up to date.
