Salto KS Web App

An RFID tag is a contactless key fob with a secure chip used for smart access control. Presenting a tag or keycard to a lock for which the user has access permissions grants entry. RFID credentials replace physical keys, are easy to assign, and can be blocked or reissued if lost.

A Digital Key is a secure mobile credential stored in your smartphone for cloud-based access control. Tapping your phone to a BLE-enabled lock unlocks the door. It replaces physical keys and works via the Salto KS mobile app for admins or Salto KS Keychain mobile app for users.

Android users can unlock doors by waking their phone and presenting it to an NFC-enabled lock, which then grants access. NFC access is also supported on Wear OS smartwatches.

Enter your PIN on the smart lock or wall reader keypad to unlock doors. You can also assign a secure, unique PIN to guests so they can access the space independently.

Remote Opening lets you unlock doors from anywhere using the Salto KS web app or mobile app. Grant access to guests instantly, no matter the distance, with secure cloud-based control.

Users can easily set their own custom PIN to unlock PIN locks. Choose a 4–6-digit code via the mobile app or let the system auto-generate one if you leave the field empty.

Manual Office Mode keeps doors unlocked for open access. Users with permission can activate or end it via the app or by presenting a valid credential to the lock.

Easy Office Mode unlocks doors during scheduled timeframes. Users with permission activate it by presenting a credential. The door locks again when the timeframe ends.

Automatic Opening unlocks doors during set timeframes without presenting credentials. Enable it via Easy Office Mode settings in the Salto KS app or web platform.

Site admins can import users in bulk via CSV and export filtered event data or user lists. These tools simplify setup, reporting, and access management across sites.

Events Streaming enables real-time monitoring of entries and incidents. Events appear instantly without refreshing, keeping your access data live and up to date.

Events Storage logs entries, rejections, and incidents. Lite users can store data for up to 90 days, while Pro users benefit from extended retention up to 365 days.

Monitor access changes with Activity Log in the Salto KS web app. Choose how long logs are stored based on your plan: up to 3 days for Lite users and up to 30 days for Pro users.

Generate Time & Attendance reports in the Salto KS web app to track user check-ins and check-outs. Get daily timestamps based on assigned locks for accurate insights.

Offline Access ensures locks stay secure and accessible even without cloud connection. PINs work by default; Digital Keys and Tags must be enabled manually.

Define check-in and check-out timeframes when granting access. Users can only unlock doors during that set period, ensuring secure, time-bound access control.

Salto XS4 Com door intercom integrates with Salto KS to manage visitor access remotely. Residents can unlock enabled Salto KS locks via the XS4 Com mobile app for secure, seamless entry.
